L'essayiste français Jacques Ellul ne parle pas de complot illuminati, mais de "subversion du christianisme" par les Eglises officiellement chrétiennes.
Un lecteur attentif de Shakespeare constatera que le problème de cette subversion est déjà central dans la mythologie chrétienne de Shakespeare, à la fin du XVIe siècle. Les personnages de traîtres à l'esprit et à la lettre du christianisme abondent en effet dans le théâtre de Shakespeare : Copernic (alias Polonius), Gertrude, Thomas More, Wolsey, et bien sûr tous les rois "de droit divin" (dont même l'Eglise romaine officielle ne nie pas le satanisme désormais, bien qu'il serait plus utile de dénoncer dans la démocratie le même processus théocratique païen, et un stratagème idéologique plus pernicieux que le nazisme).
Cette subversion est un phénomène décisif, au point qu'il est pratiquement impossible de comprendre l'histoire de l'Occident moderne sans l'intégrer. La contre-culture du complot illuminati peut donc permettre aux jeunes générations de recouvrir la conscience historique à qui elle a été délibérement ôtée pour le besoin de justification de l'éthique ou de la morale républicaine (voire remplacée par le culte identitaire nazi, instrument du fanatisme et du populisme).

A careful reader of Shakespeare will find that this subversion is already the main subject of the Christian mythology of W. Shakespeare, at the end of the XVIth century - that there are many traitors to the spirit and the letter of the Gospels in the theater of Shakespeare: Copernicus (aka Polonius), Gertrude, Thomas More, Wolsey, and of course all the kings from "divine right" (which even the Roman Church does not deny Satanism now, though it would be more useful to condemn democracy, which is not less made with same theocratic pagan trick, and is more pernicious than nazism was).
This betrayal must be understood, because it is major point in modern history of the Western world. What is prohibited as Jesus-Christ says -civilization aka Kingdom of God in this World- should be betrayed by clergymen and official Churches (to better cover up the truth at the source). USA are playing this game now, after Roman catholic Church before, of universal lie in the name of Ethics and Civilization. Between science, truth, and power, you must choose says Christian Revelation and Shakespeare, because they cannot go together.
